Went out for orientation group gathering today. It was pretty tiring! x) Cause we went to east coast to fly kite and cycle.

Haven't cycled for a long time and i'm a super lousy cycler!

Met up with them at Ang Mo Kio mrt at 12noon. Some people were late so we decided to leave to eat first. Ate at S11, i think?

Si liang is damn funny! Sometimes i don't know if his words can be trusted x) Cause he was late, so he first said "the bus uncle is quarreling with some indian man, so maybe they're going to the police station, so my bus is delayed" then next he said "oh my grandmother was alone at home so i have to wait til someone is home then i can leave" and lastly "i am repairing something, will be late". He later explained that he had to repair his torn bag, which appeared true cause the bag was torn x)

But the entire thing sounded really ridiculous and farfetched xD But the grandmother one may have been true cause it happened another time when they went out for dinner, i wasn't there so didn't know.

All right, took 135 to east coast. Got off the bus after a long ride and walked a long way to reach east coast x) Was quite stoney on the bus but i've got nothing to say :D

So we're there. Went to rent bicycles to cycle to the jetty where there is most wind and where the kite can take flight x)

Was one of the last few to reach the jetty because my shoe fell off halfway through cycling xD My other senior, Rebecca helped me pick it up x) Then her bike sounded funny because there was a twig stuck on her hind wheel, so she stopped to remove that twig. Si liang helped out and i waited at the distance from them. Hence, we were one of the last x)

Si liang started setting up the kite and xueqiong(another senior) and him were running about, trying to get the kite to fly x) They looked really child-like! Cause of the way they ran x) They even ran a relay. First, xueqiong ran in the north direction, then she made a U-turn and passed the kite to si liang and he ran in the south direction and made a U-turn x) Funny! Rebecca and me sat on the bench and talked about laughed at them, haha :D

The others were still at the jetty, enjoying the breeze. So the rest came to join us. We flew the 2nd kite as well. The 2 took some time to fly the 1st kite though cause there wasn't much wind x) But when the rest came, there was a hell lot of wind so it was easier to get the 2nd one in flight.

After awhile, they went to sit down on the pavement to play poker cards x) There were 2 circles, 1 for poker and the other for uno, i was part of none cause i didn't feel like playing x)

Ate satay, chicken wings octopus and stingray at chomp chomp. There was rice too. The rice really filled me up. Oh and together with the sugarcane which was in this HUGE glass! It looked like there was a litre of juice x)

Michelle joined us for dinner. After dinner, we went home. Took 73 and stupidly, it went to ang mo kio interchange instead of toa payoh x) Went a circle to get back home! Sheesh.
