Leaving for hongkong tomorrow morning and am returning at night of the 7th march :)
Now adays i feel pretty okay about travelling, well it beats getting all excited and cannot sleep the night before and not being able to wake up the next morning xD
Anyway, i think i've already watched all the nice acapella videos they have youtube and there's nothing else for me to watch xD I must be nuts about acapella and guess what, i think i am! It's nice :D It's really good to watch more things to increase general knowledge :D Just like Swingle singers and the fact that classical and orchestral piece can be turned into an acapella performance :) That's almost close to choir actually.
Wonder what souvenirs to get back this time. There isn't much to represent hongkong, exept for some food and stuff.

Went to collect my new glasses today :) Looking good, i like my glasses :) Lols, yeah its something of neutral colour - black. Actually, the frame is metalic colour while the sides are black. The new degree is making my eyes uncomfortable :( I hate wearing new glasses cause they always give this problem with the new degree. Got a feeling my degree will once again increase as i wear these glasses :(
Hopefully it's because my eyes are not used to the new glasses and not something wrong with it like my old orange one :/ The new ones are definitely clearer :)
Drew something in the office today again but they're so ugly so i didn't scan them x) I can't seem to draw a fancy guy in the circus, lols. All the guys ive drawn with the circus theme looks weird :/ It's the costumes. They don't look circus-y enough, not fancy enough :/ Sheesh. x)
Saw a rainbow along the way. It was really beautiful! It was very clear as well. I would say this was the clearest rainbow ive ever seen though i didn't take a picture of it x)
Oh love, will be indulging myself with acapella goodness again :)

Oh my! Haha, i think David Archuleta looks absolutely adorable in there! As compared to David Cook that is, Archuleta seems much more like a little boy x)

Had a small Mong gathering today. Vanessa, Valerie, Roxanne and Weiting came over, though vanessa joined us later in the afternoon.
Talked the entire afternoon x) A conversation that linked from topic to topic. Oh come on, it's knowledge :) Sharing what we all know. Haha, this reminds me of promenade when my section just gathered together and started talking about things like these x) Ordered KFC for lunch cause we felt lazy to go to the market. We must do this sort of gathering regularly man!
Heading for hongkong next week, can't gather then :( But we'll organise another meeting on the next available weekend :D Hopefully this time more people can join us :)
Anyway, had an awesome day today! :D
Oh my, i simply LOVE acapellas! I think my blog's going to become like vanessa's with all the youtube posts x) But they sound really good! By the way, this group that sang "How to save a life" also sang the "Nintendo medley" :) Love the starting! Actually sometimes acapellas sound nicer than the original x) Especially the background music.
Though this guy's a little on the soprano vocals, the whole thing still sounds good :)

Was drawing in the office again. But it's different cause i was doing it on full A4 sized paper x) I've decided to redo the Chinese Zodiac.
Anyway, wanted to colour my zodiac drawing today in the office as well but i decided to complete the entire collection, all 12 animals, since its better if i finished every single animal before colouring them. Though i had the entire day, i didn't manage to finish my last animal, the pig. Perhaps its because i spent too much time thinking about the pose and the character of the animal which i was trying to portray. Hope it turned out okay xD
So yes, i'll be drawing the last pig then photocopying the drawings to colour. Why, you ask? Cause the graphic of the pencil on the paper will mix together with the graphite of the colour pencil and become all black, dirty and smudgy. So it wont be nice. So i'll colour on the photocopied version. It's not some complicated drawing anyway.
Now a days, i enjoy drawing this sort of more cartoon looking characters xD It's easier, less tiring and more productive(drawing more in a shorter time, lols). I havent scanned the other half cause the pig's not in place yet xD
Anyway, let me explain
Rat: She's hiding under the table cause a rat to me is like an animal that goes around hunting food and eating it in secret xD She's got cheese on her cheeks. So that's why she's in that position.
Ox: I know oxes are supposed to be strong and all, but i just felt like making the ox a little blur. The above ox boy is like dreamy and plays around in the meadows often. Well this came to me partly because cows hang around the fields pretty much xD Cows and oxes are pretty alike arent they? Haha! Thought it'll be cute instead of the strong ox we all know.
Tiger: Tigers are fierce, ferocious and scary animals. So i made the tiger feel unapproachable, gangster-ishly scary. By the way, he's wearing his school uniform x) So he's like a school gangster in a way.
Rabbit: Okay rabbits are supposed to be cute, small, little furry creatures but not this time xD I linked it to magic via the rabbit in the hat trick thing. I kept her cute element though, with the 2 pontails and stuff.
Dragon: Dragon reminds me of the King in china a uber long time ago. So i made my dragon into a king :D He does look a little cocky, huh? xD
Snake: I just thought snakes as slithery, lazing around sort of character, though that may not be entirely true. I think a snake's like the sexy sort as well, so here she is :) Gave her a chinese theme on random xD

Horse: She came from the word 'carefree'. Suggested by vanessa(cause i asked her while having lunch) :) So i imagined a carefree person shopping :) Free of all worries, think that's like a remedy for troubles for certain women.
Goat: I think i just made this one out of the resemblence of a goat, the beard x) Who has beard but an old man from ancient times and enjoys tea :D
Monkey: I thought monkeys as mischievious creatures so there's a student playing a trick on someone - a teacher or a friend - and she's trying to hide from whoever.
Rooster: Yeah, i realised its rooster and not hen x) This idea came from vanessa, she says chicken sounds motherly so i decided to make my chicken a caring mother who lives on a farm. The eggs pretty much gave away her zodiac identity i guess?
Dog: To me, a dog's active, lively and bubbly animals so here's a young playful boy on the beach, playing what dogs love the best (well they do like balls most of the time right? haha) :D
Pig: Part of the idea for the pig came from vanessa as well. Pigs are pretty smart creatures but appears a little relaxed most of the time, almost to the point of being lazy? So here's my pig :D Yeah, a book guy but he sleeps pretty much x)
Well thats it! My version of the chinese zodiac :)
ps. i think i destroyed the colouring a bit cause of the awful clashing colours for some animals :( And sorry my colouring skills suck :(

Went to the Singapore Flyer yesterday for a ride in the evening at 6pm. Left my house for vivocity to do some shopping first. The place is so huge that it makes me lose my shopping appetite xD There was definitely lesser people there yesterday than on one sunday my auntie, uncle, mum and i visited when it was newly opened. My mum and i went for lunch at Sushi Tei. Though the things there are expensive, they're really delicious!
So we were only left an hour to shop around before we would left for the Flyer. Met up with the rest of my relatives at the Flyer place itself. Sat down at some half fastfood restaurant half cafe place to have coffee. I had raspberry icecream and it was pretty expensive :/ $5, tsktsk. Think they should sell things cheaper cause then they'll be able to make money out of tourists and the locals.
Here are some pictures! Haven't uploaded a picture for such a long time cause uploading pictures on blogger is so troublesome. The pictures are not arranged in order and stuff. There seems to be something crazy about the spacing of the pictures everytime i upload pictures. Additionally, since my blogger isn't locked for the convenience of viewers and myself (cause i think its kind of troublesome to sign in and out all the time, so yup), i can't openly post many pictures, upload certain videos or talk about many things :)
Anyway, continue with the pictures x)
This is from the inside of the Flyer building. The building has restaurants and shops for people to shpo around. There's also a build-a-bear workshop! Aww man :( I want one, but its pretty expensive and i don't know if my love will last x) Sadly, a piece of shirt or skirt or pants can cost more than half the price of a real human one. But they're so cute though!
This is the inside of the container. They play songs inside, over the PA system xD

The picture on the left of this text is the still building IR. You can already roughly see the structure and it's pretty like whats in its digitally drawn picture x) 
That's the Esplanade. Quite a good shot by Js. 
That's our floating stadium. Looks pretty small from far. But i think it's pretty big on the ground x)
That's another compartment next to ours. 
This is a miniature of the future IR (i think). This is built on top of the building. I mean really on the rooftop of the place (yes, opened to rain and shine). It was near the end of the ride, like when the wheel makes a full turn back, you'll be able to see it on the rooftop. So we were looking from above it before this picture was taken. Am i even making sense? xD Looks pretty real against the background of the real CBD buildings, haha.
So our ride ended and we got off. Headed over to the souvenirs shop to take a look. Took some brochures from inside the container for souvenir x) Took 2 extras to send to my penpals xD The brochures (also a map of the places and buildings around the Flyer) are really cutely illustrated! It's in a shape of a compass, quite cute! The whole map is circular. It felt like some sort of navigation device xD VERY cute! :)
Went to "Old Market" (directly translated from Chinese), the Lau Pak Sa. Don't really know the english spelling of the place. Had dinner there. Was still feeling full of the earlier sushi late lunch we had. It was such a HOT day! Goodness, for the past few days already! Including today, even now as im posting, ive got to depend on my fan to keep cool, gosh! Shared Hor Fun with mum and ate a bit of Satay. Then ate Ice Kacang after :) Finally! Something cool to sooth my life xD
Then we all headed home after that.
And that was the end of our day :) I would love to take the Flyer at night and see the night life of Singapore.

Happy Valentines Day to everyone! :)
Went out early in the morning yesterday to meet up with weiting, roxanne, zhixin, vanessa, siying and valerie at toa payoh interchange to head for cedar girls school altogether. Jacqueline was supposed to meet us there but in the end, she got lost and decided not to join us and went ahead for her next programme of the day. Today was pretty humid man! Went into the school and didn't manage to meet up with weiting's cousin to get the tickets for awhile. But finally we met up and got our coupons.
The day was extremely hot! We used our money to buy food stuff and sat down to eat in the canteen x) I dropped my $3 hashbrown pizza :( So wasted, oh sigh. I only ate about 50 cents or less of it :/
Well, went on to dhoby ghaut's plaza singapura's starbucks and sat there for the aircon and talk. Strange, but we were watching the people walk by and stuff. Started talking about random things linked together xD
It was about 3.30pm when all these ended. I had to head home for my family gathering at my downstairs auntie's house. My cousin there was returning to Australia to continue his school term so we were invited there. Actually, didn't think that was the reason we were invited. Cause the people weren't going "aww you're going back?" and stuff. So i guess it's just like a gathering x)
Love my uncle's curry, very nice! It's not exactly too hot for me and it tastes great! Love it! My relatives were playing mahjong. We opened a second table and i watched my cousin, his mum, my leaving for autralia cousin and my uncle play. Man, they were fast! Was only looking at my cousin and my uncle was already calling(mahjong term?).
Drank a bit of red wine again x) But not too much this time. I don't understand why people appreciate these things - red wine, white wine. They taste pretty weird. Though the after sensation's pretty good x) Like the minty feeling down your throat. But the taste is absolutely bitter and funny :/
Today was tiring! Felt so sleepy. After the mahjong game, the 2nd and newly opened table played "mix and match the tiles". Joined in the game. Think we played a total of 6 games in which we only managed to clear 3 games. Clear as in completely mix and match every single tile and that everything went successfully. That was pretty fun x)
The day ended at about 10.30pm and everyone headed home. We'll be going for the Singapore Flyer tomorrow. Our ride schedule was around 6pm in the evening. My mum and i planned to go shop nearby before our ride. My mum stil has tickets left, forgot how many she told me. Wonder when we'll be able to finish them since they're expiring at the end of March. Oh man! It'll be a waste if we don't use those tickets.

I made a really silly video using macromedia flash. I got so exhausted after only completing the introduction so i gave up xD I took about a day and a half just to do a freaking 30s clip or so.
Anyway, can't seem to publish the thing as a Quicktime Movie cause it says my currently installed quicktime doesn't play that sort of movie? It's probably cause it's too new to play such an old software sort of thing xD But i saved it into a JPEG file so its just a picture now. 
This is roughly what it looked like. I especially like the effect of the software where your brush strokes automatically turns smooth. Like as shown in the picture above. I like this sort of brush strokes, looks very artistic xD Something im not able to do in photoshop :(
Nicole sent me this email about this women killing a cat. It's absolutely disgusting and cruel! Goodness, was wondering if it was even real so i went to take a closer look and i feel more grossed out each second i stare at the picture and look for photoshop flaws. But so far, everything looks pretty real and grotesque!
Today's been absolutely HOT! It's so humid! Gosh. So many places are on fires and stuff. Oh sigh, whats the world become? My mum told me that the earth's water would be completely used up in 20 years time which i think she read somewhere or something really is going to happen :( Aww man, i'll still be alive then! Lols.

I started work on the monday and i feel as if ive been working there for weeks x) Well i wouldn't exactly say its boring cause i dont really do much now adays. I was helping my mother more on the first few days when she had stuff i could manage, such as filing the invoice with order forms or delivery orders and keying some numbers into the computer. I even typed out her workers' salary! Omg, i hope i didnt do them wrongly x) They collected their salary today :D Felt kind of accomplished cause the thing ive done had been put to use, haha lols.
Anyway, my work has been dropping in numbers cause there were lesser stuff to do now. My mum says its like this after new year. So now i just sit there on the big table and draw on my notebooks. Well, occassionally, my mum will still give me stuff to do so yup. Working has become waiting for lunctime according to my mum and its true to some extent xD Oh yes, tmr's saturday, dont need to work x) Cant believe im saying this :/ This is kind of bad cause i dont like working xD How am i going to survive a world like this for the rest of my life?! No wonder my mum looks forward to weekends this much. And i thought school-ing way bad enough :/
Gee, my mother just vented her anger on me :/ How convenient, sheesh. I'm in love with david archuleta again! :) Love his singing and not forgetting he looks cute too x) He's really a talent man! There is this blonde highschool guy in the new american idol who reminds me of david. They're both cute x) But he got out during the group round :( Oh mann!Yes, the first group performance was awesome! Their singing effects were just great!
Hmm, what else is there to say? I want to enjoy my holidays before it ends :( All right, got to prepare for a new life with new environment and people :)
