everything's been so fast! with a blink of an eye, almost 50% of the holidays are over. the auditions are just round the corner! or should i say, its tmr! well, mine is and im worried! i hope i dont freak out since i do suffer from 'crowd trauma' hah. band camp follows right after. and very soon, the concert and finally my 'actual' holidays! well, then comes sec4 and o levels! damn, things just stop and go so quickly!

anyway, melissa sent me two songs recently. they are performed by an acapella group which is called 'Achordants' and its totally cool! i mean, i havent exactly listened to one before. but after hearing it for the first time, i thought it was actually quite fascinating! it sounds almost like the real recording, with the drumset, background music and all that. totally amazing! you should have a listen to it!

not only that, i have recently just completed a series which showcases musical stuff. when i heard the clarinet on the show, i was totally stunned. his or her high notes were practically transparent! well, it was a professional japanese clarinetist, what can i expect? if only i could become like that, but i guess its kind of late now since i'll be graduating in no time.

i have also visited imeem.com and had a listen to our syf piece which was posted by some guy. it seems that this same man has recorded for the other schools as well, perhaps he is one of the coordinators? but thats not important. i was listening to our choice piece and realised how fast we actually played! well, compared to the professional recording, i obviously heard a huge difference.. or perhaps the recording by that guy isnt exactly the clear version so its quite hard to analyse the recording xD well! we can always work on it :)

i have no idea how to 'pass down' my knowledge! i mean, dont you pick up more than me passing down more? i guess its more of the self initiative, motivation and determination! come on people! you can do it ;)

that aside, i havent completed all my homework yet! chinese chinese! so annoying, why must we completed 4 compositions?! sheesh. well, thats all for today!
