birthday gathering at my house

had a birthday gathering at my house instead of going for a bbq. i guess it was more of a gathering than a party. hah. boy, did we have a lot of food. so much that we couldnt finish it xD there was still about one third of a tub full of potato salad and doughnuts left, and not forgetting jacqueline's beehoon. everybody brought home some stuff in the end xD

well i guess it was rather noisy having about 10 people in the house, walking, talking, shouting from a corner of the house to another xD still, it was fun! we had steamboat. van and wt woke up early in the morning to get all the ingredients for the steamboat while zx provided us with the steamboat itself =) thanks to all =) well, the others all contributed in one way or the other. i got us the cake =D

at first, zx wt mel and van came to make the potato salad (well, mel came home with me form band). then we waited for the rest to come. and they finally arrived, excluding the parts where i had to go down to 'fetch' them from the gate xD we started out with games such a mahjong xD and card games. valerie went around showing her magic trick. my mother called her the 'magician' xD

well, skip all that and come to the steamboat. it was fun setting up the whole thing! haha. then we all settled down and started digging in xD van and wt bought a container full of prawns and in the end, we only ate about a third of it xD the day cannot be described in words, but overall, it was great fun! (i think i skipped a little too much. sorry, but i have a bad memory xD)

Halloween party at jolander's place

went for a halloween party yesterday. it was pretty cool, cause not many people in singapore get to do stuff like that. well, we were told to dress up as no humans were allowed xD thats just plain cute! haha. well! zx and van didnt exactly dress up! and poor me had to dress as a pathetic cat alone xD some people were cowboys, detectives, santa's helpers?? witches, prisoners and emo people in red and black? it was just cool xD poor jacqueline had to pretend to be a mummy, wrapped with toilet paper with a skull mask and stood for about 3 hours! haha.

but i guess it was rather interesting. zx was so freaked out by jolander's dog, coco, that she practically vice gripped our arms so tightly! xD really, i didnt know she was this scared of dogs? they played pass the parcel and it was fun watching them do their forfeit xD vanessa sabotaged a few people xD oops! =x there were even 3 kids who came at around 9pm to trick or treat. so cute! i didnt know someone would actually do that in singapore xD

left the house at about 9+pm we walked out of her neighbourhood. followed up, we walked to thomson plaza cause there was a taxi stand and all the passing by cabs seemed to be occupied. but when we got there, there was not a singple cab in sight for minutes! so i decided to call up my mother and asked if she could pick us up. well, fortunately, she was able to come and fetch them all home. =) well, was extremely tired last night that i almost overslept this morning xD

well! thats all for today's post, i guess. man i feel stressed!
