moving on from throat infection to nose infection?

just when i thought i had recovered from my throat infection. i went to see the doctor this morning again. well we realised that the cough medicine wasnt working for my cough. so yes. went to the doctor my mum always sees. she says this cough should be something to do with my nose so therefore she took me to see that doctor who was supposed to be a really good doctor. its like whatever medicine he gives my mum would guarantee her recovery. therefore we went to see that doctor.

well! to my surprise, the clinic i had visited was the exact same one i visited when i was 7 years old! haha how cool. yes we waited and this nurse came up to us and she took out this piece of paper to confirm my address. goodness was the address old! it wasnt updated cause i havent been here for like years! well yes we waited for another few minutes and yeah we got summoned into the room~

i was expecting some middle aged doctor around his 30s or 40s but instead on the chair was a well.. "old" man in his early 50s? or so. when he spoke i realised he had this accent. like really fluent english sort of accent. haha.

you know he is really really professional! i mean it! you know usually in neighbourhood clinics, you tell the doctor whats going on and he nods his head asks some more questions and prescribes you the medicine. well this doctor was a little different. i told him what was going on. well being a child i didnt know what was going on with me and i didnt know how to explain to him how my throat and nose actually feels. eg. when i swallow saliva theres this like WEIRD feeling in my nose? xD yes. so i told him. and he actually was able to finish my sentence! well kind of.

i mean from that i could tell that he was a REALLY experienced doctor. without me saying more, he said out all that i wanted to say but didnt cause i didnt know how to fit it into my sentence. haha cool huh! then he examined me. and then he said i had this nose infection? and that the well.. mucus? is trickling down to my throat which causes this itchiness that makes me cough like mad! then he asked me if i had headaches which i had the day before! this is so cool! i mean you dont see doctors around who could conclude that unless hes a really experienced doctor. haha.

still i dont understand why i had slight fever last night? hmms. well now everything makes sense. the reason why i had this funny reason up my nose was because of this infection. and why i know im not coughing but instead something's with my nose is because of this infection thing. and there! everything perfectly concluded. haha. so he precribed me some medicine. by the way, he was a pretty funny man as well. haha he tried joking around which made him seem silly xD oops. haha.

then it was my mum's turn. and cause my mother is not fluent in english he had a "translator nurse"! haha cool. whatever my mum said the nurse would translate it in english to him. how cute is that! xD yeah he precribed us some medicine and we went out~ got our medicine and left. mum says he doesnt have a disciple. i think he should train one! i mean how many good doctors do we have in singapore? and i mean good ones!

well i just took the medicine the doctor precribed and miraculously my coughing stopped! or maybe it was because this cough lasted so MANY days already that it is starting to cure itself. xD well i still find it really wonderful! i have well almost completely stopped coughing! and the tablets he gave were small and easy for consumption. thats another good thing. haha. right this had been a long post. i'll be off then!

ps. when i looked into the sky just now, i felt this sudden serenity. really soothing feeling that made me feel slightly happier.. so this is what the beautiful sky can do to us. for a moment back there.. i actually felt.. good..
